Notes:

The only surviving documents for this game is a set of rules dated 1981 - thus the assumed starting date for the game. General consensus is that this was the first PBM game that we played as a group. A 1984 note from Alan discussing the difficulty levels of ND vs. BP prove that the game ended by 1984. Additional information is greatly desired.
